In the past three NCAA tournament selections, we've seen a team ranked as high on the NET as No. 38 (North Texas 2023) left out of the field entirely. Conversely, a team ranked No. 77 (Rutgers 2022) did earn an at-large bid.

Wow, I am surprised to see SMU second in that table. Beat FAU and SMU and I think we are ranked in the top 25, and a bubble NCAAT team. Or at the very least keep winning and it becomes possible to be an at large team at the end of the season in case we don't win the conference.

The AAC sucks this year and we’re beating up on Quad-3/4 teams almost exclusively. It’s a great year for us, relatively speaking, and we could even be tourney “deserving” for an at-large, but I don’t blame anyone who’s not a USF fan to be skeptical of our record and this streak.

FAU cannot be understated as a resume builder.
