Nice! Her pay is $4.49 an hour + a free bag of popcorn and the soda of her choice at every home game.

Think she was making over $100k in some years.

While comparing to NBA its not much, but when comparing to other professions:

I make less than $62,285 from my day job, and my day job isn't as fun as playing basketball, so WNBA players have me beat.

And their season is May-September.  Even counting work in the offseason, probably not a bad hourly wage.

I've had some nice conversations with her over the years. She lost some of the USF fans after the fight that got her tossed off the Atlanta team and they didn't go to her HOF dinner.  We went and were glad we did. Tough kid but nice - funny - and loves her mom.  Told her I was her oldest and whitest follower on Twitter. She almost spit out her drink.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
