I remember when Temple hoops was good under Coach Chaney. Tons of teams had issues with them back in those days. They were a force in the A10.

Yep, and I still wish Chaney had choked out Calipari when he had the chance.  🙂

It's a head scratcher now considering what transpired since then but head scratchers definitely happen all the time during the ooc season ...... ****, I'm just happy it IS considered a head scratcher now ...

Once again, I will agree with Trips, FGCU beat FAU last week, **** happens.  The most profound statement of the week is that it is now a head scratcher and for that we are all happy.

The Earth has now totally spun off its axis. We're heading into game 12, on a 5 game win streak and game 2 is now something to be discussed ..... We're a funny breed at times.

if this team is in contention for any post season tournaments those early games are going to be in the discussion. It is what it is. If this team is not a post season team then it doesn't matter.

If good enough to be in contention for the post season, the discussers will be smart enough to see that was the 2nd game of a new coach with a totally rebuilt team and the 5-0 run to end the ooc schedule completely overshadows it. It's a non factor.

I think it's more funny that @Friscobull agrees with you....on anything.

I got USF -9.5 on this one.

So will the wins. If we're good enough in conference to warrant a look for a post season tourney, the committee choosing will look at when those ooc wins and losses occurred and it shouldn't be a negative factor ...

Kinda funny, after tonight’s win…6 in a row…. Coach brings up “Game 2”.  It’s ok to do, you see.
