The lighting are streak and had a rough start due to having the strongest strength of schedule in the league. Now they will have the 26th/27th weakest strength of schedule and will look better. Kucherov is carrying this team. We are so lucky to have him.

Five game winning streak. WE need to make it a 6 game streak.

As expected Lightning started playing much better with the easier schedule. Kucherov is a russian scoring machine built to completely take over games making it look easy. Lilleberg has really stepped up and been our second best defensemen without Cernak and Sergachev not playing due to injuries. Hagel is really elevating his game. Stamkos is playing good, but not elite. He is turning into more of a one-dimensional scorer. Cierlli is really good defensively, but he is about 3 million over paid for his contract based on his production. HE is a really good 3rd line center, but doesn't generate enough offense to play and get paid as a 2nd line center. Hopefully the Lightning get healthy, start playing better against weak teams gaining confidence, and get ready for potentially one last playoff run with Stamkos.

The last time they lost to a "weak" team was mid December. They need to just keep beating most of the teams they should beat and beat the ones they're fighting for a spot with.

Back to back wins being carried by Kuch and Vasi against cup contenders. Point,Stamkos, Cirelli, and Cernak all played much better last night.  Hopefully these are signs of things to come.

Duclair really brought some life to the top 6 and depth scoring. He really has made Stamkos much better with his speed and tenacity. Dumba is an upgrade to our defense, but that isn't hard to do these days. Vasi is gaining his playoff form  based on the last few games against cup contenders.

Kinda sounds like they may be having a bigger impact off the ice than on. Lost some character guys in the locker room the last couple years in Killer, Maroon & Bogo and they're helping there. Also, they may have brought some juice, coming from where they did, like the kids from the Crunch did earlier when had that nice run before the All Star break.

Losing warriors like them like them did hurt to some degree. Should have kept Maroon and Perry instead of signing Watson and Sheary. You forgot Perry , McD, Gourde, Goodrow, and Coleman. All were warriors on the ice willing to sacrifice everything to win. Stamkos is pretty much a one trick pony thse days, but having him playing with a higher offensive IQ player like Duclair versus Cirelli and Paul really helps him. HE doesn't have skate with the puck as much, Duclair will go to the dirty areas to get the puck, and feed stamkos the puck to shoot. If Sheary stays out injured even though he was finally looking okay.  We should call up Gonglaves we are better off in my opinion. Guy brings it every shift.

Four  wins in a row three straight wins against cup contenders. Next stop San Jose versus the worst team in the nhl. We probably start the backup and find a way to lose this one.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
