The lighting are streak and had a rough start due to having the strongest strength of schedule in the league. Now they will have the 26th/27th weakest strength of schedule and will look better. Kucher

The last time they lost to a "weak" team was mid December. They need to just keep beating most of the teams they should beat and beat the ones they're fighting for a spot with.

Now we have about 3-4 million extra to play with using LTIR. Hope Big Cat comes back strong but he looked bad last playoffs. I knew something was off. If we can bring in Patrick Kane to help the top 6 that would be epic. The bottom 6 looks solid, defense looks solid, and De Haan is an animal clearing out the crease are and blocking shots.

We need to find a better back up goalie to play.

What a terrible weekend for Tanpa sports. They all lost bulls,bucs and Lightning.

Haven't watched the Ottawa game yet but goalie was not the problem in Detroit. There was going to be a learning curve with the roster changes but Vasy going down was a dagger to the heart. I know it's only 3 games but not sure they can keep this thing salvageable until he gets back .... The Eastern conference is just getting too good, top to bottom now.

Both goalies Saturday and Sunday looked like echl/ahl goalies. You aren't going to win nhl games of your goalie can't stop  at least 90% of the shots.  Good goalies are 92% plus.The defense looks looks bad but I think they are trying to overcome Vasi. we need to be around 0.500 until vasi gets back. I suggest trading for a 1b type goalie soon like Maf or Martin  Jones. We have the cap with big cat ir money. I been playing and watching hockey over 30 years. If your goalie can't be average you will lose almost every game.

Lightning look better playing a bad team. Should be 4-1 but sergachev spoon fed them a goal with a terrible decision. The goalie isn't playing great but not as bad as the last few games. Kuch and Point are going to have to carry this team. Paul has really stepped up early.

WE are not going to win many games like this so go to try to stay around 0,500. Johansson is only really on the hook for two of the goals tonight because Sergachev gave them a free goal with that boneheaded play. 26/28 = 92.8% chance to save the puck. If we can play around that level we can win games. Defense still looks sloppy at times and the offense will have to carry the Bolts. Good job fighting for the win tonight.
