Anyone know why the Marching 100 was not there last night? They have brought the band for the other 4 games

I was a bit disappointed, since they do add to the ambiance of college football

Heard something about the band being tired after performing at some tournaments, then a parade, and the game last weekend. But that could be completely wrong, just what I heard.

Yeah it was a bit disappointing. I had wondered if we actually banned the opposing teams bands because of the whole silence on offense thing. But someone nearby mentioned they didn’t make the trip, no reason given why. Wondered if $ had something to do with it.

Heard from some HOT day highschool kids that they had a lot of members sick with Covid, but I can not verify that.

Was it the 2011 or 2015 game where they played the entire 2nd half?

I hope both of these are wrong - the FAMU band is one of the best in the nation and has always been a draw for their fans to attend

I would bet that the USF/FAMU game is the only time that most USF fans get to see the Marching 100

If the Marching 100 is not going to come to future games (for whatever reason) than USF may as well schedule a different FCS opponent
