All I’ll say is this: the day we start winning is the day we get it figured out up front. We have to be able to establish a line of scrimmage with an offensive line that’s not always in the QB’s lap and we have to be able to win some one-on-one battles on the defensive line and get in the backfield to make it uncomfortable. I can’t remember the last time I saw a USF defensive end beat the offensive tackle and put a big hit on a QB. Feels like it’s been years.

And when they look at the tape, I’ll bet they’re going to see that our 6th year OT and our Oviedo transfer center - in particular - were beaten like rented mules for most of the day.

I’m sorry but USF football still has not found a coach since Coach Jim Leavitt. There is no sugarcoating it. USF football sucks.

The program is cursed for firing Leavitt. I think the inpatient boosters for the athletic program to come up with an excuse to get rid of him. And because of that, we have been cursed. The only success after Leavitt was a result of Quinton Flowers, not because of Taggart.

Agreed but I sure we would all take Taggart back over this.

This sounds like a fire CAG thread

Golesh gets at least 2 and half years. MK on the other hand should be on the hot seat. Today was a bad start for the Golesh era. I see the stats were we gained a lot of yards, but in the end we were outscored 34-7 in the last 3 quarters. Made huge mistakes when we couldn't afford to. To many penalties. No way one can spin that.

MK needed a homerun hire. Maybe he will be, but today was a disappointing start, and at best he is HC that comes with training wheels.

I'm not sure what you were watching.   We had over 500 yards of offense including 374 on the ground.  Our qb turned the ball over 3 times and completed less than 50% of his passes

Some of you are incredible ....

I would have liked to have seen Bohanon at QB; I think he is a better poised QB. Byrum looked awful. I think the offense had that many yards despite of him. They had almost 200 yards during the first quarter and did not come close to replicating that in the remaining quarters.

Baylor last year decided to go with the QB with the better arm, but they probably regretted it by the end of the season. Bohanon is a player that will make a play when you need it. I don't think Byrum is that player.

Should have went with Chadwell or Herman. The guys have experience winning and scoring points with less. I was not impressed today but will give Golesh 6 games before I evaluate him. WE keep hiring first year head coaches with zero experience running a program expecting them to learn on the fly.

Like who cares if you rack up a thousand yards if you chose to cap off the end with a vanilla play.

We threw a pick in the endzone

There are no curses there is just bad decision making from our current and past AD's.
