For all of those who complained about student attendance, it's time to be humble.

Students filled up both sections today, and a good number were forced to sit in the upper deck when the lower sections filled up.  Students did a great job representing USF today!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the court, two of the lower sections were only half full, with the third about a third full.  Where are these tickets going to?  Why are we selling tickets to people who never show up!  I have never seen that section close to full before.  We need to start selling the tickets to people or buisnesses that are actually going to USE those tickets.

Thats what i loved about Lee Rose when he came into USF and made the lower Bowl the Rose Garden and it was students. Those Big Donors that buy tickets and not use it should be set for the middle level sections. Why would they care if they arent going to games?

Yes, very good showing! I wish they would give the students the side of the court like they do at UF (our building is identical almost) it would make us look more exciting and fill seats in better.

That being said we were very quiet after they went up 31 -12.

A 19-0 run will do that.

Students were great today and loud even when we were down by 25.

Props to the students.  It was a refreshing showing.

Donor tickets.  I agree that there should be some form of ticket exchange for donors that know they are not going to the game.  They should just mail them back to the Sun Dome to have them distributed as necessary....schools, churches, recreation centers, etc.  Still, it's hard to knock donors as they are the financial lifeblood of the program.  Just so you know, you must give a minimum of $2000 year and purchase the $35 tickets.  That adds up.  Plus, many have priority points for having both basketball and football season tickets.  That puts everything to at least over 5k a year.  Courtside costs a 10k donation, I believe.

That's nuts! I've sat courtside for free at Bulls games for four years!

students showed up because they were enticed to show up by USF athletics... at least that is what I heard.

There was a cookout in the greek village and then the contest that would have netted them each $100 had the kid made 2 of 3  half court shots.

Good job by USF in tapping into the Greek system.  There were a TON of sorrority/fraternity members there.

its also during finals week...and all the on campus kids have to leave...the 28th of December will be empty too...
