Elena did not make the Washington roster, but Dulcy did in Seattle.

From what I've seen, last year's #1 overall pick was cut by her team as well. Part of the reason for the outcry about the WNBA not having enough teams to support the level of talent. Tough to expand though when the league itself is dependent on being subsidized by the NBA.

Right, not enough teams and only 11-12 on each roster. That's pretty tough to crack.

Alisia Jenkins didn't make the squad either. Forget which team she was with.

It also doesn't help when top talent can make more in NIL deals than salary in the WNBA.

I had the conversation lately. The top players at the top schools should try to stay in school as long as possible. The highest paid athlete in all of Iowa might be a college WBB player. (including the AAA baseball team).

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
