We can all agree it is about players and the coach is coaching them. Hopefully our new coach will get it done. Unfortunately, if we lose the Western Kentucky, some on this board will start the fire him threads. I guess on the flipside if we beat Western Kentucky, we will hear are going 13-0

I wonder if a lot of these players that are leaving could have contributed if they had better coaching.  Seems like I see a lot of players become very successful after USF.

I'd like to know the actual numbers on that. Off the top of my head, I feel it's just the opposite.

If we beat WKU he topped the old coach in one game because WKU is better than Temple.  If he loses then he has 11 more tries to get us 4 wins. Now if FAU has a strong season and USF doesn't Ad MK should be fired immediately  after the season. HERMAN was a proven winner and I think he was the right hire.

I think it is a little of both. Some guys won't contribute much anywhere and some guys will shine with better coaching  and better players around them. I can see Horn and Weaver doing good in the pac12. I don't really know how Battie will perform in the SEC but he did great against the Gators. The men are alot bigger and stronger  in that conference. Robert's left here and had some good seasons.  The biggest issue was the previous coach could not develop talent at all on defense it seems.

If I remember correctly he went down to FCS and showed out. I am not sure that is the same as putting up big numbers in FBS but he did enough to get to the NFL so it definitely counts from that standpoint.

That is a good case.  It is going to be interesting to see how the CJS era players preform at their new schools with upgraded coaching and better cultures then the  fraudulent Clemson south culture era.

To me, quarterbacks are kind of a different animal when talking about portal transfers, especially White. The DB that went to Nevada does come to mind but don't know of any others, but doesn't mean there weren't.
