Not that familiar with college baseball but how many hs pitchers hit the ground running their first year of college and how many improve from their first to second year and after? ......... and how often do quality college baseball pitchers become available through a transfer? Drives me crazy that some people think that the college athletics portal is something akin to pro sports free agency ....... in most cases, especially at our level, it's not.
