I haven't listened to him in a decade or so but if I remember Deion would appear on his show and stay with him when he was in town. Again, I don't know the veracity of the statement but maybe?

I quoted them because the better article from the Dallas Morning News is from behind a paywall.  It's not like the New York Times invented this story.
