Talk about revisionist history.  When we first got a team, UCF demanded that we play them immediately like we owed them something and got butt-hurt because we refused to schedule them the first few years.  Year after year, we heard about how you were going to beat us when we played.  When we finally played you and the result didn't go your way, you flipped trash cans and keyed cars on the way out of the parking lots.  You had football 18 years before we did and you should have been better, but you weren't and you couldn't deal with it.  Congrats on your success.  You've won titles and even a national championship   You've been around longer and have had more success.  We've been irrelevant the last 5 years, not sure where the "talking down to UCF" comes in.  Hard to talk down when we're on the bottom....good luck in your new conference!

Pretty sure UF, FSU and Miami would do the same if a Florida school tried to get into their conference.  But you go on holding a grudge if that keeps you warm at night.
