It made me think of the positives of this HC situation: 1. It's Florida. The recruiting should be easier and more plentiful though that hasn't always been the case. 2. Expectations could not be any lower. A couple of wins in the first season would be considered a huge success. 3. A wide open conference in 2023. No traditional power house teams that will out spend you. And don't forget the IPF and OCS...

Being located here is a minimal advantage if any when it comes to big difference maker recruits. And I agree with Brad we need more than 2 wins next year. But if you know how to coach this could be a nice step for your future Edited November 7, 2022 by olafberserker

I'm not sure it's a great opportunity anymore. Taking it over from Leavitt or Taggart should have set up a great opportunity but our AD let us down each time. We've not been able to hire or develop fulture leadership. I think a bad team in a bad conference does not equal a great opprotunity - especially with a dissipating fan base. There is a lot of work to do for someone looking for a challenging opportunity because that is what we have turned this program into.

I am not sure either. No better than FAU or wherever else. UCF is getting our recruits now that we used to get in the Big East I am assuming...

The gap definitely feels like it's shrinking though.
