ESPN Networks (Plus/U/2/3/U/ACC/Longhorn/SEC) Unavailable...

as Big Rat is in a contract dispute with DISH Networks (Sling, etc.) as of 01 OCTOBER 2022.

So, I won't be watching the game, BUT I'm not sure how this impacts customers who subscribe to a specific ESPN stream (e.g., app, unique to ESPN). 

So, my NCAA football fix for Saturday will be via linear access. This may impact some watch party venues as well, not sure. Just an awareness.

If you have plus you can stream it on your phone, tablet, computer etc.. you don’t need the provider.

Touché, I actually have a couple Apple TV’s, need one of those new fangled smart tv’s

Indeed. We have a Smart (Sony Bravia) but use Sling as our delivery service as opposed to cable. The ESPN + app is available, and I think the subscription cost is around $10/month or so, but - for no more than we watch - the app isn't "a value-added component".  Now, that radio from the power outage, where'd I put that thing...
