Uh maybe because we controlled time of possession and punted one time on offense.

 

I don't think this writer understands football.

The article

Yeah the defense stepped up honestly.  Especially compared to recent memory.  This was a total game plan executed exactly how you would want at the meta level...

That's one of the dumbest assessments I've ever seen pertaining to a game. They must have had the flower and garden editor covering the game ...

Surely there has to be someone at the oracle that is passionate about football and knows basic football knowledge. Right?

This is the same Oracle that ran a nonsense column about how we shouldn't build an OCS so I'm going to guess probably not.

Exactly! Going for it on 4th again and again (when you are very much in the game) shows there wasn't fear of them piling up 70 points.
