Please lets stop saying this game is for that just yet...we do have a tough game this weekend...

I'm with ya, Joe ........... I know we don't play yada, yada, yada, but this talk really makes me nervous. There's even a Temple Terrace travel agency pushing Sugar Bowl packages ...........   :-/

If we win at UCONN this weekend our game will be on ESPN. The powers that be are just waiting to make sure there are ramifications for our game with WVU.

ESPN jockeyed around their contractual obligations this weekend in order to show PSU-MSU for the Big Ten title and they will do the same for ours. The conference will want this game to be televised in primetime if it is for the championship.

P.S. 79 Bull, if we beat UCONN the game with WVU is for all the marbles. We do NOT want WVU to lose for numerous reasons, which you can find mention in various posts on here.

Yeah, like playing a higher ranked team, and not to mention letting Pitt backslide into the BCS game...  We need WVA to win this weekend.

I am probably the only selfish soul on here who was hoping for an afternoon start time.

I am in law school and I have a final exam on SUNDAY morning at 9am. Talk about ******. I will still be at the game, but I better have my s&*t together ASAP. Who the hell schedules finals on a Sunday anyways?

I'm another who gets messed up by the time change.  My niece's 18th birthday party is that night, so I will probably be offering three tickets once I confirm the others can't make it either (they are by brothers, so I know the answer).  Bummer, but she is actually sweeter than the Sugar Bowl anyway.

Will do.  I have been trying to influence her by telling her what national standing our accounting program has (she seems to be leaning toward accounting), but I think she is set on going away.  I will talk to her at the party.  She knows what a USF fan I am, so I know she will appreciate the sacrifice of not going to the biggest game in USF history.  God, it is hard to be mature!!!! :-/
