Outside of my father, my track and XC coach was the biggest influence in my life. Over the summer in high school we each would run 1000 miles. Lessons like "don't listen to your body, it is a liar", "Our motto is 'We live in pain', and others were called on later in life when I needed persistence, endurance, and focus. Doing twenty hour days for grad school and driving home at night to get four hours sleep to do it again gave me many occasions to use those lessons. Great sport. It is great that USF is doing so well.

Great hire. He is very good at recruiting for sure. He also knows that immediate success can be gained from field events (there are more recruits in this area nationally and internationally) and then you build around that. The women’s team is ahead of the rebuild.
