Interesting 2013 article SB Nation by Gary Stephen. Re: History of USF-UCF Rivalry Part 1. I found it interesting and it brought back some of the antics and games from past years. Also, a recent article (lost the page) that quoted MK and the AD from ucf regarding the changes to a possible-future rivalry game. Would appear once they leave conf it may be 6 years until another game. Guess we should beat them a couple times before they leave..maybe make a statement and win the series. Maybe-Just Maybe, this USF team can step up and provide a winning performance Friday.         It's Way Way Over-do

True, 2028 would make sense - if it's renewed.

Unless we meet in a Bowl Game :)

Go BULLS !!!

Bye, bye rivalry?

Both UCF and USF have been in the American Athletic Conference since 2013.

In September, UCF athletic director Terry Mohajir said he wants the Knights to keep playing teams in Florida once the Big 12 run begins. He said he’d like USF to stay on as a non-conference opponent.

It’s not unusual, as Florida plays Florida State the final week of the regular season every year, and they’re not in the same conference.

Once UCF joins the Big 12, whether it be 2023 or ’24, it is likely the “War on I-4” will be on hiatus until at least 2028, because that is the next year when both teams have openings in their non-conference schedules.

Relish it now while you can, Knights and Bulls fans.

The most USF thing ever would be for them to get the edge on the series and then leave lol...

Let's end it now.  Can't continue to take refuge in thinking small.

But you'd be good with any other Big 12 team?
