Ain't nobody got time for 4 dimensional chess or whatever USF is trying to pull off. We just need that (Football) OCS!

We should be getting that B12 invite within the next 15 days, apparently. So, at least there's that. :D Maybe the lack of a women's LAX stadium is actually what was holding us up.

Why wouldn't Corbett be perfect for lacrosse?  Makes no sense to not use it.

May have to go with an artificial turf field but there is little chance we build a LAX stadium.

I wouldn't think we'd need a purpose-built LAX stadium, but the two articles I read (the previous one I posted and the Oracle one below) both say basically "Corbett Stadium until plans are made for an on-campus stadium for the team."

OCS "for the team" doesn't exactly sound like they'll be playing at the football stadium. But, I sure hope that's the case. We definitely don't need to be splitting funding between two different stadiums. We need all the money going to the football OCS.

I'm hoping it's a dual-use ruse to get funding, like Brad and MaltLiquorBull mentioned.

You really think they are going to build a separate stadium for LAX?

Baseball, soccer, softball have their own stadiums

Lacrosse is Spring sport that starts after football in March. So why not use an OCS for Lax when football season is finished?  Soccer season is Fall and overlaps football thus the need for a separate stadium.

My son converted from football to lacrosse and never looked back.  Lax is one of the fastest growing youth sports in the USA.
