By that statement, we never needed a basketball stadium either. We wanted one... and it's nice to have one. But, we did well playing in a professional stadium, too.

No problem with me if they played all their games at Amalie, where the curse is apparently ineffective .... best season in history of the hoops program.

That kind of thinking will shut this board down, sir ....

I hear you but you and I and GaUSFBull discussed this very thing a few hundred pages ago.  You probably debated it with other people on thread several times before that.

Were you convinced to build an OCS?  Win anyone over to your side?

Our one vagabond year and we win 2 games in the Tourney (yes I'm counting the play-in). If there really is a burial ground curse, as seems likely, how would people feel about it impacting the football team too?

If/when we build one, that will be great. Just saying that not having one is in no way impeding the football program achieving what it wants to on the field ........ the lack of an IPF is a bigger impediment.

I'm with you

Did FSU or UF use an IPF during their best years?

That is just crazy talk. OCS discussion is one of the time honored traditions on this board, you know that, and any attempt to squelch it is akin to heresy .....
