Again I don't think this guy is another credible source.... I also like to imagine  I won the 1.2 billion dollar powerball and bought USF a stadium.

Forgive me if this sounds stupid :)    While in and out of sleep last night I was thinking about realignment. I do believe if FSU does leave the ACC we slide in to take their place.   In my subconscious my thought was if FSU has an invite to the SEC or Big 10 they technically split the university in 2 as well as the sports programs.   FSU (the JV teams)  stays in the ACC and collects all the ACC money.  Come up with a second name like The Florida State University and move the "varsity teams " to that "new University" in the SEC.

I didn't take any sleep aids that made me hallucinate so maybe this does make sense

I am sure there are much more teams with an ocs in power than then no ocs in power 5. Let's also compare wins, top 25 wins, championships, bowl wins, and ny6 bowl wins as well.

Spot on! USF has shown a lack of investment in their biggest revenue producer (over the past 15 years).

(To the Admin) - Be invested; Expect success; and please stop rewarding mediocrity (e.g. giving extensions too soon). They kicked the OCS/IPF can down the road for a very long time (until UCF gets an invite to the Big 12).

Mediocrity was miles ahead of the qualifications to get extended by Ad MK, one fbs win in two seasons  is worth a 5 year extension .

That's because 99.5% of teams in college football play in an ocs  ..... because they had no other viable options when they started. Again to be clear, I am not by any means opposed to an ocs, just opposed to the notion that we are where we are in any significant way, shape or form because we didn't build an ocs earlier.

I think that's probably true. However we really don't know and will never really know. I guess its possible that if we had built the OCS in 2008 or soon there after, we might have been more attractive to a major conference and have been picked up at some point, regardless of our record. Really if you take away the last 3-4 years we were an above average team, so its not inconceivable that the Big 12 would have picked us up along the others, and that the OCS would have been a deciding factor.

But it something that is unknowable and doesn't really matter at this point since you cant change the past. The hope is that the OCS we are building now will help us get in a major conference in the future. I am glad its finally happening.
