Is now the appropriate time to say, **** TigerJay?

And where the hell is my $100?

They are not on the list because they have already been accepted.  This process is to select their travel partner.

Seriously though, that guy needs to come back here and eat some major crow.  You'll never see that money.

Is it me or does it look like academics is at least part of the equation?

The selection process for the B12 is controlled (at least outwardly) by the university presidents.. So yes, academics will factor in.

I could  believe that BYU is on the outs, but why UH?

I think they are the MOST likely pick up at this point.

There is some real resistance among the non-Texas schools to add another Texas school.  It is really illogical as it doesn't really add any TV market.

So with the in person B12 interviews coming up, do you think USF brings in some star power like Tony Dungy? I know he doesn't have very much affiliation with the school, however he was there for CWT's interview.

If you were USF, and had 4 people to present, who would make your list?

It also tips the scale for lonestar politics. Assuming all Texas schools vote together on anything involving the conference, adding Houston makes it impossible for the other member schools to have a voice.

I'm sure this is more Twitter crap, but I find the "veto" column interesting:
