So Can We Beat SMU Next Week????

To have a shot at beating SMU we must control the clock and probably score over 40 points. If we start slow again we will be down 21-0 as we were at BYU.

If we win the coin toss, take ball and try to go on a long time consuming drive to set the tone of game.

With this defense we gotta play more like Navy and make teams get frustrated so it might pressure SMUs offense some.

If we do that and score and shorten the game up and get lucky with turnovers by defense we definitely have a shot.

But we will have to play a complete game not just a good half. 

Also I'd sell out to stop the pass (not sure that's possible with this defense) and dare them to run more as that also would eat up the game clock.
