GAME DAY vs. Florida A&M

USF returns to Raymond James Stadium Saturday seeking the program’s 100th home win in its 25th season of football. The Bulls are 93-51 in Raymond James Stadium, but played the first nine home games in program history in old Tampa Stadium, going 6-3.

SIGNS OF PROGRESS: Through two games vs. P5 opponents, the Bulls have improved in two categories targeted by head coach Jeff Scott. USF gave up 3.3 sacks per game in 2020 to rank 113th in FBS. This year that is down to 0.5 sacks per game and up to 5th in the nation, despite facing two strong defensive lines in NC State and No. 13 Florida. USF also ranks No. 14 nationally in penalties per game (4.0) and 54th in penalty yardage (50.0). The Bulls were 38th in penalties (5.3) and 51st in yardage last year (48.44).

TURN AROUND TIME?: The Bulls last faced Florida A&M at the start of the 2015 season coming off of 2-10 and 4-8 seasons in 2013 and 2014. USF delivered a 51-3 knockout and went on to go 8-5 and reach the Miami Beach Bowl behind the play of sophomore quarterback Quinton Flowers (#9). Flowers passed for 141 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 63 yards and a touchdown in the game. He would go on to set 42 USF records during his career and lead the Bulls to 11-2 and 10-2 campaigns and Top 25 rankings in 2016 and 2017. USF enters Saturday’s game having gone 4-8 and 1-8 the last two seasons but with a roster infused with talent that has been fine tuning execution and on the verge of playing at a much higher level.

South Florida Football is back at Ray Jay this Saturday! The Bulls host the FAMU at 7 p.m. and we want you to know everything to get your #HornsUp and cheer the team to victory! 

Game Day Timeline

2:00 PM // Parking lots and the Raymond James Stadium Ticket Office open.

4:45 PM // Be a part of The Stampede and welcome the USF Football team as they arrive at the stadium. The Stampede will take place in Bulls Bay this year.  

Post-Stampede // Bulls Bay is open and is the premier destination to begin your game day experience. Located on the South end of Raymond James Stadium.
 
5:30 PM // Gates open! 

5:35 PM // Catch the Herd of Thunder Road Show on Tom McEwen Blvd. on the South side of the stadium.

6:55 PM // Team Entrance on to the field

7:00 PM // Kickoff... #GoBulls

 

Traffic & Parking

Tailgating must cease in the parking lots at kickoff. Emergency lanes must be kept clear in the parking lots. Please keep tailgates confined to space immediately behind your vehicles to allow space for an emergency vehicle to access, should the need arise.
