UPSET ALERT!    Memphis threw a 5 spot up in the 3rd and now lead ECU 5-1 through 3

Final .. Memphis 11 - ECU 1.     And they may be able to get somewhat closer to being on schedule.

Covid is more likely at a college baseball game. It is not a fan of basketball, which is why the Sun Dome is safe.

I think one could have made an argument that this was a matchup of teams, decisively (not just in seeding),  of the best and worst with everyone else bunched in the middle (USF being towards the bottom of the middle, of course).  ECU has been a highly ranked team for most of the season and getting run ruled by last place Memphis is probably not what many expected.  While they are probably good enough to win out of the loser braket, the Pirate ship taking on so much water does seem to open things up for the rest of the conference.

ECU screwed the pooch by saving their pitching in that first game. But they are more than good enough to run the table.
