True about the turnovers.  But we just can't score when we don't.

Is that a Yogi Berra quote?  😂

This is the type of game you have to win if you are a tourney team.

Which probably says how we will finish the year.

I would prefer it happen after I feel confident that this is a tournament team though. Hope they show out over the next few weeks.

Rules lookup,  since I was sitting behind the basket tonight and refs let Wichita call timeout "Twice" when Collins had ball in hands ready to shoot free throw. Rules of the game below.

In high school and college basketball, players on the court or the coach may call timeouts. In the NBA, only players in the court are permitted to call timeouts. Players and coaches may only call timeouts when the ball is dead, or when the ball is live and their team has sole possession. For example, a coach or player may call a timeout after making a basket, since the ball is dead, but not after the opposing team has picked up the ball for the ensuing in-bounds play, since the ball then has become live. Though the clock is stopped, a coach may not call a timeout when an opposing player is shooting a free throw.

Brings back bad memories.  First live game I did as a ref a kid comes running up to me "Time Out, Time Out". Raise my hand, blow the whistle, stop play and the other ref (who knew it was my first game) quietly comes over and tells me that the other team had the ball.  Lesson learned.

Other lesson learned, after the game the winning coach comes up and says great game ref. Losing coach says You suck.  Hmmmmm.
