He improved our defense under TAggart at least.

Not sure he is a good head coach but he is a great Defensive Coordinator, tough place to win and he is doing that now, I am impressed.

You are way off here. It’s Indiana in the Big10...after this year he will have been to four bowl games in seven years...that’s actually pretty impressive.

What's more impressive is how he kept that job for  7 years with that record.

What’s more impressive is how he did it at a university whose sole athletic purpose is basketball...

This is still college football. This is a p5 school with resources. NO EXCUSES. Most coaches get 3 years.

You more than anyone should know that their are only about 10 P5 programs who do what you just say. Many know their place in the pecking order. Indiana has been much worse historically but never much better than they are right now. I suspect their fan base is happy to bowl eligible. Rutgers will be the same way when **** face turns their program around as well. Not every school in the P5 is gunning for championships because they know it’s unrealistic.

I wouldn't be that disappointed if he left IU...he has been using his connections in Tampa Bay to poach a number of recruits over the years we have competed with them against...their qb is a prime example...

So basically, he lucked out by going to a program with no standards. I still dont see what is the big hoopla with this man.
