The second is we basically have the former coaching staff on our side now.

Good but also worrisome since that also gives the players motivation to beat former coaches.

Biggest plus is we will have played two games and this will be first game and they lost that really good QB from last year so lets hope they have none but usually in this case of any USF opponent  they seems to have 4 QB's all better than our starter.

Spread now down to -3 FAU. Home field usually gets 3 points so we are at a pick ‘em game.

While I wouldn't think of this as a revenge game for Taggart, you have to think CJL would be about as pumped for this game as anyone. He'd head-but Judy if he could.

For Taggart, USF was three jobs ago...seems like a short time ago for us. Mike Hampton is prob the only fifth year senior that was here when CWT was our coach...I really wanted to see CJL in person for this one...to see the look on his face when stuff goes bad for us...to see if he's smiling...i hope he's on TV a lot

Home field in only worth 1 to 1.5 this year without fans. I'll keep letting it drop and then pound away!

Yeah that’s probably true. But looks like a one possession game. I’ll take USF and the FG.

So FAU is favored by less than a touchdown?

Hypothetically, if one placed their mortgage on this game and this game does not occur, would one's investment be restored?

yes

At this point Tags is a seasoned coach, as is CJL

Last year's FAU team was stacked

Motivation for a win on that sideline is HIGH

I worry about this one.

Although, it is their first game, so no practice yet at all. One advantage for us. The second is we basically have the former coaching staff on our side now.

I think us playing 2 games to their none is a huge advantage for us, despite the debacle of last week.  We have real game tape to correct mistakes and determine best players to put on the field.

CJL will punish the unrepentant at USF.

How many are left that may have "sinned against him?"

Trey Dukes, Hampton, and Michael Wiggs are all that are left from the 2016 class

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
