I know it's not the best situation, but D1 and stay in Florida, it's probably the only option. It sounds like he has the talent. After looking at his offer list, looks like he has offers from FAU and FSU for in-state so I guess he'll end up at one of those. Did he have commitable offers before like Gator said but just didn't pull the trigger but now has none and the coach is kind of protecting him in that regards?
