Nice second half.  I too love that CBG preaches Defense.  That was something we got better and better at last year.  Didnt see the game.  Is Antun the answer for us at Center?  Glad to hear he played well.

Must be Finals next week.  Next game not till 15th.

Until this game Antun hasn't made much around the basket.  He had a size and weight advantage tonight agains smaller defenders. The good is that he took advantage of it. Games in the past he would either travel, draw on offensive foul or miss the bunny.  Looked very determined in the 2nd half.  CBG said before the game that Dartmouth was averaging 12 made 3s a game.  Think we held them to 6 or 7.  The Yuengling curse works on the other teams too.  Dartmouth didn't shoot it well and Furman didn't in the last game.

The Dome is where basketball goes to die.

Thanks Ricky.  Didnt see either game but hopefully it was our improving Defense that contributed to their poor shooting?

Let’s hope that curse continues to work against the visiting team. All in all, think they are playing better as a team.

In his post game report on Iheart he seemed pretty happy with the defense for the first 34 minutes (IIRC).  The closed out on the shooters pretty quickly and we didn't allow many backdoor layups.  Can only remember 2 for sure - 1 a layup and 1 a dunk.  BTW, Does Durr know he is 7' tall and the dunking was allowed back into college basketball after Alcindor left the college game.

Good question.  He kind of got thrust into this situation.  CBG hopefully can help him grow as the season progresses.  We need him to be more dependable.

His hands are about as bad as OMG's, the 7'5" guy that treated the ball as if it at olive oil on it.  Durr isn't much better. The kid works hard but he needs to practice ball skills.  Show him the old Pete Maravich drill video and let him do that while he's studying for finals this week.

Antun played like a senior, other 2 played liked the frosh and sophomore they are and will hopefully improve. I think we've been able to out physical the last opponents, may be able to do that with Drexel, but Utah State and FSU will be a whole different level ...

Its amazing how many of these really big guys have this problem.  Maybe their size makes them awkward.  Plus alot of em havent played organized BB for long.

Shouldn’t be long before we see OMG make his WWE debut.
