Charlie Strong was supposed to bring superior recruiting  to USF. I want someone to explain to me how after three years they don’t have an offense Full of athletes with speed when they are recruiting in Florida. Every week I watch USA opponents make plays on offense like contested catches those kinds of things including 2 Big Plays last night.
Either We are not recruiting athletes or USF coaching staff is not able to coach them up.

The last time I remember a coach that coached their players up a consistent basis was on there CJL.

It’s become very frustrating watching USF go through the season and show very little improvement.

Is it just me or Is anyone else getting tired of watching USF players shoot their mouth off when they’re down 30 points?

This! Sam kept mentioning the same thing last night. USF does have the athletes but they really have not been coached up to their potential. We are running the wrong offense

It all falls on coaching.

I can’t defend the coaching staff. I literally ran out of all excuses. That game looked like we were still in preseason mode.

Every following coach learned that coaching people up leads to unreasonable expectations and will get you fired around these parts, its better to set the bar as low as possible and then blame the players as if they somehow have nothing to do with you.

Coaching = recruiting, player development including strength, game prep, game planning, player motivation and during game adjustments.  CCS may have been spoiled by having Lamar Jackson and Quinton Flowers as QBs.

To this day, JG and those spoiled boosters screwed USF by firing Leavitt. Starting to think we are still cursed from that terrible mistake

look at how flat this team comes out week after week, that is the enthusiasm they bring to the game aka the biggest stage.   and then realize they are almost assuredly approaching practice and off-season training with even less enthusiasm and it really makes sense why there is no development.  Starts with the attitude of the head coach.

CCS knows how to win when hr has Bridgewater and that is it. He has consistently not developed our team for three straight years and we are getting worse and worse each year. At this point to save the program they may want to bring CJL back and start the IPF asap. CCS has sent us into a downward spiral. The fact he thinks he knows how to win and belongs here is beyond words. Only in CharlieLand is 4-8 accept after inheriting a  11-2 team three year prior. We have had significantly less wins three seasons in a row with 10, 7, and 4. At this rate we will only win one or two next year. They better keep Tate Rodemaker  coming here at all cost or we are doomed.
