An OCS for a commuter school is the dumbest idea ever when there is a Super Bowl quality stadium 10 miles away.

So how do you define commuter school?  Per the interwebs, we have roughly 18% of our (31k undergraduate) students living on campus.  UF 22% of 35k, FSU 20% of 33k, Central Florida 18% of 56k, Miami, 39% of 10k - I have always found the whole “commuter school” bit to be an uninformed stance.  We are on par with other state universities so that excuse can go back to the 90s.

We really are not a commuter school any longer.

If a student doesn’t live on campus, then they are a commuter...whether they get there by car, bus, motorcycle/scooter, train, bike/moped, skateboard, Segway, or walk.

IPF and new Rays stadium should be top priorities right now. The OCS will become a priority in due time. Got to fix football on field first lol

I like it with one adjustment.  New Rays/Bulls stadium in Temple Terrace with high tech movement of seating to form a proper football configuration.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
