Probably Chicago... Anaheim already has a title recently, don't need them thinking they have some type of dynasty ;)

Cardinals are the favorite, and i usually pull for underdogs.

I like Houston, if clemens didn't have a title already, i'd probably be rooting for them, but i think the White Sox have the best story line right now, with their own curse.  It would make the Cubbies vomit too, and leave them as the lone cursed team, except maybe the Giants ;) (BTW bonds is a cheater)

If we go by recent history, Houston will probably win, all wild card winners the past 3 years.

Oh, and the curse of A-Rod continues.  Mr. MVP himself is now 0-10 in games in which the Yankees faced elimination.

He can't handle the pressure packed situations.

last yr game 7 was a blow-out....this yr he sucked all 5 games....he was def pressing but instead of swinging it seemed he was looking for walks.

it was the curse of crosby that hurt last night....never thought i would think that colon would leave the game and that would hurt us....that kid santana looked good....must have been that black magic.....

but game 6 and 5 and 4 were all clinching games... so game 7 isn't the only pressure situation from last year.

yeah and he also hit a double to tie the game in game 4 of the ALDS when we were down 6-5 with 1 out in the bottom of the 12th inning....the team was also down one game to none in a best of 5 series....

my point is the loss was not all arod's fault....he had a crappy series but he was not alone....red sux fans will always be upset about arod because they thought him going to their team was all but a done deal.

yikes, if you can't beat the angels after they played 2 games in 2 other cities in the 2 previous days and after their ace is taken out of the roster... there is a problem.
