I'm expecting the um to become a series ... THE rivalry game .. battle of "SOUTH" Florida ... we have a 2 game series with them - the same as ucf.

BCS in the state of Florida = 4-star talent.  I'm sure Carlton Hill would much rather be ON the field at WR then on the bench at QB.  He is still getting work in practice at QB

Hill was offered by Miami, to play WR.  He said he wanted to be a QB, USF was the only school who said he could be a QB.  Yup.

Plus Andre Hall, plus Courtney Denson...plus three (so far) four stars transferring in.  If I'm counting right, that's already 6 more than ucf the past two years.

Six?  

They are tranfers, hell, that does not count.

Roy Williams  4 stars

Those were all JUCO tranfers with four stars, all in one  year.  Guess what, only one turned out to be anything.  Much like Denson, nothing is guarenteed.

Rivalries are built over time.  How can you have a rivalry with someone you've never played?

I don't like Mark May but, he's correct...this game isn't on anyone's radar...nobody gives a $hit except ucf.

We're BCS now and that means we attract four (and soon even a couple five) star players now.  ucf is non-bcs and in a watered down c-usa.  They cannot land the recruits needed to compete...just like we couldn't until last year.

This year will probably be the most competitive ucf can make this...simply because our real talent is still young.

Bottom line we have to play CUSA teams, as part of our cusa big east agreement.... I would travel to Orlando every other year  than to SMiss, Tulane, Utep don't you guys get the picture, we should schedule them each year until cusa agreement dies..

You know, I am tired of a team that was 4-7 last year dictating who we will beat.  I can't wait to walk out of Raymond J. tonight and hear the sound of crickets from the USF side of the stadium.  The silence will speak volumes.
