USF -15 on Bear’s lock board on gameday. He hasn’t yet said what the lock is.

mentioned this on the game thread./.. the lock will be us not covering is my guess since ESPN hates USF and uses any chance to disrespect us.

Still a little surprised they gave us that much room.

How can you get to pick any 3 games you want in the entire college football world, manage to be sub .500 in those picks and still have a gig of making these picks on the biggest college football stage? He must have CWT’s agent.

Picked UMass to cover.  Gave little respect to USF.  Said we will win but much closer than 15

Asked who we beat and only mentioned close wins over Illini, ECU and Elon. No mention of GT.  The other 4 looked bored and immediately started talking about ACC games.

what a shocker

look-- the guy is not Jimmy the Greek -- just some on set person who they gave a little opportunity to talk some football. Whether he actually wrote what he said about USF is debatable. The ESPN party line has always been to piss all over USF whenever you have the chance or need to talk about them.

and earlier were positively GLOWING about the beat down GT did on UL.

go figure-- ESPN is biased and other than buying the rights to all this content, is pretty much worthless as an organization imo./

I agree about the ESPN bias, however, CCS ball is not helping.  As a G5 looking for respect, style points matter and CCS is content to sit on leads and not interested in pouring it on someone when the game is in hand.  So for the casual observer, they see our scores and go meh...

1) don't care what ESPN thinks about USF

2) style points will not win us the AACC

3) we are not playing for anything but #2 until we sneak into a P5 conference- so why bother making a big deal over style points and thumping opponents?

Some might find CCS coaching to be holding back our offense. Personally I think we are just not tuned up and make too many mistakes that cost us points. He would probably love to throttle every opponent.
