I think Archer will be dealt.  I won't miss him.  Yankees are supposedly looking at Ramos.  Jalen Beeks shelled today in his debut.  I'm glad we can keep developing players for contenders.

Archer to the pirates for Glasnow and Meadows. Could be one of their better deals in a long time.

I am really surprised they gave up what they did for him. 

He is a plus 4 ERA guy. Anything under that is an improvement. A lot of analysts thought he just needed a change though so he could produce up there.

Got a king's ransom for the guy.  Apparently Meadow was the key.  Pirates didn't want to part with him, but Rays insisted.  Glasnow has a world of potential if he can put it all together.  Overall the Rays did well at the trade deadline.  Just sucks that it feels like we just traded for the next crop of guys to trade away at the deadline in 2-3 years ....
