I'd been debating for a couple days to share on here or not, but now that lots of people are sharing on Twitter, I think the time is right. I didn't want to share something personal that was not meant for the world to know. 

Joey Johnston's son, Joey Jr. got in a bad diving accident and has a long and expensive road to recovery. 

I know there are lots of generous people on here, if you can spare a little to help their family out, I know it will be appreciated. 

Joey Sr. is a Bull, and one of our own. Most remember him for his time as our beat writer for the Tribune, but this year he has been part of the radio broadcast team for USF.

Probably not the time or place to lecture folks about decision making. 

Heard about this Monday night from one of Joey Jr.'s long time coaches.  Hoping for the best for the young man.
