Maria was the closest we had this year, but wasn't clear game-in, game-out Ah, the old “next year looks good!”💩 That’s what I heard right after last years one-and-done. Lia was every bit of the leader that Maria. 1

Lia was every bit of the leader that Maria. Laia doesn't have the mental game that she needs to lead. Maria got it in the 2nd half of the season, but I still want to see another Courtney grace our court. And yep, as much as you might want to throw up in your mouth, I'd take a repeat season to end up where we did in the ranks.

And we may have been. Had we been a 4th seed there is a better chance we win a first round game at home. Buffalo is proving themselves to be a tough out. Because we lost to them doesn't mean we didn't get snubbed. As for next year, it is going to be hard to replace the double/double from Maria and Laia's assists. If we do as well next year I'll be surprised. Maybe not a major fall off but see a bit of a decline.

She made her statement on the court. https://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?t=979&s=298893 https://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?t=7278&s=298893 Edited March 21, 2018 by NAS Gone to Paradise
