McClanahan's offseason adjustments

Seems like SM has been working on his off speed this off season. 

 “He threw 90% fastballs last year, the command just wasn’t there for the off-speed pitches.”- CBM

"However, his changeup is now on another level, an elite level, according to the numerous MLB scouts that watch him pitch every time he takes the mound. Unhittable from what I have seen."

Wow, this is big news.  If he can add a decent changeup he will be dominant.  Key is going to be able to throw it for strikes.  Gotta have command or it doesn't really matter

I pitch unhittable too. Cause it's NOWHERE near the strike zone. Me and Shane should hang out, LOL

I love it. But there have been quite a few NCAA baseball teams with a dominant #1 pitcher that failed to make a whimper in the grand scheme of the season. I'm not even remotely saying that's our case, but how far we go depends a lot more on the rest of our staff and the offense than it does on Shane going in the top 10 of the draft.
