but ND has Rockne on the back of every jersey.  Wasn’t there a big discussion on here about only the academies being able to put a word on their jerseys that is not the player’s name?

That’s what I was thinking. No ref or NCAA official is going to be the one that goes after them.

ND is an "honorary" military academy since the Navy used it during the war to train sailors...
