Yes, for the time being. There is still a possibility that they could buy out of playing @USF.

Put that cash toward the the indoor facility

Badgers are laughing. Dropped two tough teams for two pansies, and will still make the CFP if they win out.

if their buyout is only $250,000, then we would have to pay considerably more than that just for a 1AA to team to replace them.

That's why I think it is likely that Wisky pulls out of the scheduled 2019 game in Tampa.

If they don't, we will have a good schedule that year:

2019

Yup. There isn't a single person in Madison who is mad about their schedule. They're sitting in the driver's seat for a CFP appearance.

Why would they be mad? They’ll make the playoffs with that schedule instead of taking an L coming down to Tampa. And another L against UW.

The only reason they are that high is because so many teams ahead of them lost. Of course, if they let them into the CFP with that ridiculous schedule, they'll probably excuse it away with "they beat Ohio State". I personally think they get boat raced by Ohio State.

They still have Michigan and likely Ohio St left.  They'll drop one of those, so won't matter.

When Ohio St. is on their A game, they are the most dangerous team in the nation

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
