On where I think he should go:  Deatrick Nichols.  Although going that high will be slim given our history of circumstances:  being South Florida, weak schedule, yada and more yada.

Good closing speed.  Good tackler.  Excellent quickness.  Incredible instincts.  And decent hands.

Agreed. He's a complete player and absolutely deserves a high selection. He should be the first Bull drafted in a loaded Senior class.

He very well could be the best DB to come out of USF which is by far our most successful position in the NFL.

Jenkins isin't even the best USF DB in the NFL. That honor goes to Anthony Henry.

We have had some decent NFL DB's...

Anthont Henry

Jenkins

Nate Allen

Jerome Murphy

JR Reed (could have been good if he wasn't jumping fences in Tampa during the offseason)

Mistrell Raymond

Sure im missing a few.

But couldn't quite cut it in the NFL.

Pro wise Henry was our best corner

Yup. Ant, Mike, and Nate have been the cream of the crop and has the most staying power.

Murphy did nothing and got drafted on his measurables.

I expect Nichols to join the above 3. It's no given though.

What? He was a pro bowler, started for 3 different teams, and had a 10 year playing career. He wasnt some slouch. I agree Ant was better in the NFL, though.

Also, Webster is coming into his own. He's one of my favorite bulls ever. As is Nichols

K-Webb is turning in a solid career and I have been impressed with his added PT now that he is starting opposite Johnson for my Rams. I was less of a fan of Jerome Murphy when he played for my Rams than my Bulls, atleast at USF it was mostly just boneheaded penalties.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
