Way in the past.  Q won me over last year.  But he looked really bad at times yesterday.

Reality will get you nowhere with this crowd.

But didn't we read about his improvement in mechanics etc. this off season.  Thought we'd see some improvement.

they said the same about tim tebow.

fact is they are calling plays that do not play to Q's strengths. They play to his weaknesses

he always looks bad on those throws.

that would be like saying Tom Brady looks bad when they call read option plays for him all game.

Actually, not true at all.  He had games last year where he hit those passes all day.  Then he had other games last year just like yesterday, throws balls into the ground a far off target.  It is terrible inconsistency that all boils down to mechanics.  It cost us games last year and will cost us games this year if not corrected.

I'm in agreement with you. Don't like the play calling but you still have to call some short passes and/or run the ball more efficiently to open up the deep passes.

we lost 2 games last year. they were not lost by him throwing a few short passes off target

Again, not true.  Tebow could complete passes to wide open receivers at the college level.  Tebow was a better passer than Flowers.  What they said about Tebow was that his windup was too long and he'd never be able to hit receivers consistently in the faster NFL.  And they were right.

I have been calling him out the last 3 years, while others have been apologizing.  Like deja vu all over again.

If you really think he was seriously in Heisman talk, well...

actually it's the other way around for us. we needed the deep ball to open up the run

their safeties were 7 yards from the line of scrimmage all game. they had single coverage on the outside. they were begging us to beat them on go routes the entire game. one or two even if incomplete would have forced the safeties back and opened up everything else. we called plays that were 98% of the time within 7 yards of the line of scrimmage.

and every year they said they fixed his mechanics. and they never did.that was my point.
