Gilbert's Offense

Muscle memory sounds like a good approach to me.

But seriously, Gilbert is a successful offensive coordinator who we pay a lot of money - he is not just winging it.  He is inheriting one of the best offenses in the league that utilizes the same fast paced philosophy.  I am not going to start second guessing his approach before the season even started. 

I suspect we may skip a beat here and there because it is new terminology.  That is as natural as the subsequent board meltdown when it happens.

The key issue is that there are set plays that the players are executing properly and at the same time. It is not like he is drawing them up in the sand in the huddle. How the players learn them is not a problem. 

If he would have said he does not have a game plan and he decides what he is going to call off the top of his head it would be a problem
