I'm guessing that they are testing a new start time for the annual cupcake game in an effort to boost attendance. No other reason to not have this game at 7pm. It's not on TV, and the weather will still be hot at 4pm (or worse: thunderstorms).

Unless they have some sort of data mined from season ticket holders that says they'd prefer 4:00 to 7:00 for those games, there's no way USF can be that stupid to think that. There's no Bucs game the next day so that wouldn't come into play .... I'm hoping it's a mistake.

Does ESPN3 make the call to switch to 4pm? That does not seem right. This is nuts.

ESPN3 is deciding the game time?  That's not even real TV, you can stream a game at any time, why 4?  I can't wait to see the attendance, or lack there of.

4pm is no excuse for low attendance. It is a shame USF is not getting 50k for every game
