Do you have something nasty to say on just about every topic? Dr Patel has given USF millions before and will do so again. His checks don't bounce.

Nice gift by the Patels and although I would like to see athletics receive a gift this large I have to agree that this serves as a greater beneift to the university.  Obviously the Patels have some extremely DEEP pockets.  If they could throw athletics a cool mil or so that would be awesome.

Well we do need to add a new sport to the female side of athletics. Can we create the Big East Yoga championships with some help from the Patels....

As an academic, I am amazed and proud of our university for being worthy of such a gift. As a person I am humbled that the Patels can do so much by themselves. I wish I could give as much as them back to this university.

Every one of us should be thankful for people such as this. They dont need to donate to athletics, they have done plenty to booster USF in the national spotlight.

How do you know that?  

Everyone knows that Indians only play Cricket, now maybe if we where to field a I-A Cricket program they would build us a 100,000 seat stadium to watch it in.  Which we could also use for football.

Does anyone know if Marlene Patel is related to these two?  She works in the College of Arts and Sciences....just curious.

This is indeed a very generous gift....many thanks to the Patels!

Patel is the Indian version of Smith, I doubt they are related
