Temple is NOT going back to Annapolis.  They are playing there right now.  Temple win => Birmingham .... Temple loss => One of the Florida bowls

Disagreed. Temple to Annapolis makes more sense geographically; their opponent will be different.

I suspect we are a near lock for Birmingham. 

In the meantime, we need to have a discussion with Aresco about getting better bowl tie-ins. If USF wants to know why attendance isn't better despite winning, just look at our schedule. The opponents went from great to.... yeah.... the American. Bowl tie-ins also give the fanbase something to look forward to. Getting into the same bowl with a 10-2 record as another team with a 6-6 record is not much to look forward to. The conferences we play are also discouraging. Getting one shot against the SEC as a conference is nice but its against a bottom half team.

Problem is do their fans and administration want to go back to the same stadium a few weeks later. Maybe/maybe not. I too hope we are in Birmingham.

Not sure.  I'm off the last 2 weeks, ideally.  But it looks like WVU will play in Orlando at 530 the day before (Russell Athletic).  I'm trying to talk my wife into leaving after her game to Bham (a few hours at night, grab a hotel, then drive to the game).  I'm going to try.  Annapolis might be tougher.

Will surely let you know if I go.  Would be cool to set up a TBP table or something to get to meet some of the guys.
