It was the Texas equivalent of USF/UCF. Anything can happen when it's an in-state rivalry. That was crazy to watch, though.

I think it has a lot to do with Les Miles being fired and Strong on deck. The players know their coach is full of crap (preaching loyalty, love, etc..) and has one foot out of the door.

I just don't buy that. These are kids on scholarship for a limited time, wouldn't you want to play your absolute hardest to win another conference championship before he leaves (if that's the case?) 

On the flip side; I'm sure the Texas faithful will now looooove the fact they are hiring a coach that got destroyed by SMU. Unless the players are playing flat because they don't want him to leave with that theory.

It was creepy/weird (this coming from a South American household where cheek kissing on the reg is normal).
