Yeah, us Italian Americans were treated like criminals during prohibition and WWII, as if we were all secret mafia and fascists.  Now we are insulted with places like Olive Garden and Carrabba's  that purport to be authentic Italian cuisine.  Don't get me started on Chef Boyardee.
